A slight change of plans:
If you follow me on here, or, even if you don’t, I’m going to be changing blogs. I’m not really too sure why, but alas, here I go.
The new link is: http://dtowndaydreams.tumblr.com/
Hope to see you there!

Good morning, Minnesnowta.

But with the help of a Nutrigrain Eggo PB&J and the following video, I think today just might turn out to be this:

This is what a day at home alone yields:
- A clean apartment
- 3 Law and Order: Criminal Intents and counting
- I wonder if the Keurig Coffee people realize that the commercial they have now played over 7 times in the last hour (highlighting their coffee’s ability to get your morning off to a quick and happy start) is soundtracked by a song about morning sex. Just curious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEbiye3F7Iw

My blog's name is now sort of ironic.

I started a Twitter today.

...and then we watched another episode of LOST!
So the school year’s in almost full swing, and so far I’m liking it alright. There’s always going to be the typical shell shock of the rigid schedule full of lots of listening and little moving. Even though my classes start at noon at the earliest. I’m a lucky girl. Other than that, my classes are interesting, some more so than others. I’ve only had my...
tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
...and then it was September already.
When did that happen?
I have to say, I’m ready for school to start again. Besides the whole picking-out-the-first-day-outfit thing, I’m excited to use my brain. To actually get into my major material. To start volunteering. To feel like I’ve done something with my day that would justify how tired I feel. Six more days of beautiful, workfree, friendful, outdoorsy, carefree...

I suddenly want to buy a lime green sweater set...
Because my cable package consists of “three home shopping channels, an old-people-reading-the-Bible channel and the realtor channel” (or so I see it), I was having a hard time finding something to watch at 1 am on a Wednesday. I was surprised, to say the least, at what I found when “Fall in Love With Fashion” on QVC won out over “Off Air” in my channel...
T-shirt + scissors = necklace? You betcha!
I found this article (http://melissaesplin.com/home/2010/03/t-shirt-refashion-jersey-necklace/) on Stumble Upon and fell in love with the concept! I ran to Savers today after work, grabbed a yellow XXL tee shirt, and sat down for some quality time with a pair of scissors and some needle and thread.
The above is the result. I’m not sold on the color (or my braiding skills for that...

Really, body, REALLY?
So I’ve managed to contract food poisoning. Or maybe God’s trying to tell me something. Maybe something like, “Aaaaaabbbbyyyy, don’t eat that me-damn McDonald’s Breakfast Sandwich. Don’t be tempted by the bacony goodness, (even though bacon was one of my greatest creations next to the movie Inception and chocolate chip cookies) or you will be seriously sorry...
"Just when you thought it was over"
For all of the nothing I’ve been doing lately (see previous Patrick picture post), I should have been doing a lot more writing of every variety. Instead, I’ve been spending my hours exactly how I’d like to and it’s done a helluva lot for my demeanor. I’m calmer, more laid back. Maybe it’s just the combination of hot, perfect-size-for-laying-out rocks and the...
(very) brief "insight"
I’m SO glad that the Chat Roulette fad has died down and the site can finally return to serving its original purpose. Providing a place for exhibitionists and the voyeurs that love them and keeping the rest of the internet and Stumble-sphere open for the next ridiculous meme that comes along.
Just sayin.
A quick question before work...
http://www.nme.com/movies/news/kristen-stewart-fears-assassination-by-twilight-f/178170
…Isn’t it (typically) a requirement to be of legitimate importance to society/politics to be assassinated? If this article read, “Leader of the free world fears assassination by religious zealots,” maybe I’d give it some credit. Not “horrible actress that only knows how to...

Long showers and sun bathing
My outfit and mood today can be summed up by these:
I hope that everyone else is enjoying this randomly beautiful Tuesday as much as I am. Very rarely am I such a ray of sunshine, so I’m basking in it!
(Also, I picked up some Maple yogurt I read about on Stumble and have a date with that and some vanilla and almond granola later tonight. Preeeetty pumped!)
British reality shows: Even more mindnumbing than...
I want to visit London someday, maybe even study abroad there, but watching Paris Hilton’s British BFF makes me want to bust in both of my eardrums.
Now, I know, some of you may be wondering why I would even be watching that, but I have kinda cruddy basic cable/the channel was on when I turned on the TV/my name is Abby and I have a bad-reality-tv-show addiction/Paris Hilton’s baby...
