So the school year’s in almost full swing, and so far I’m liking it alright. There’s always going to be the typical shell shock of the rigid schedule full of lots of listening and little moving. Even though my classes start at noon at the earliest. I’m a lucky girl. Other than that, my classes are interesting, some more so than others. I’ve only had my introductory class (reading the syllabus, conduct codes, cell phone policies) for Intro to Language, but I can already tell that I’m going to love it. It wasn’t until today, when I started reading the textbook, that I’d ever had the desire to keep reading. Maybe because I’m a word nerd. Regardless, it’s nice getting that little hint of affirmation that a pretty significant life choice I’m still in the process of making just might be the right one.
I got my first article published in the Statesman this week, too! I’m usually not one to boast, but I find this to be pretty cool, so I figured I’d document it. :)
Hopefully, in the week or so to come, I will find a little bit more balance. I feel like I’ve just been tumbling along these past few days. I need to get my head on just a little bit straighter. Then again, only one class tomorrow and then the weekend!
(Also, I love LOST. If you couldn’t tell by the title. I totally get the hype. It’s awesome. That is all.)
I’ve been getting particularly lucky lately with finding super kooky and awesome photos on Stumble. It makes me really want to create/craft/do something kooky and/or awesome. Here’s a random few for ya:

(Could you tell I’m really loving black/white/grey and bright colors together lately?)
Also, I’d just like to say how super excited I am that Jeeeeack the legend has made it’s way to Tumblr. Welcome! :)
Sorry for the incredibly random post, I’ve just been meaning to update for a while and figured this would be as good a place as any to empty some of the stuff in my brain into.
